Hiten Sheth is the Founder, President, and Principal Mechanical Engineer of H2S Engineers, with over 20 years of experience delivering mechanical engineering solutions for the construction industry across Southern California and Nevada. A licensed Professional Engineer, Hiten is widely recognized for his depth of expertise in HVAC system design and his ability to deliver reliable, energy-efficient systems for both new construction and complex retrofit projects. Hiten has designed HVAC systems for more than 600 projects, ranging from small packaged systems to large central plants, steam system retrofits, and mission-critical environments. His work spans public agencies, higher education, healthcare systems, and private developers, including long-standing collaborations with UCLA, UCI, LAUSD, Dignity Health, and multiple counties and municipalities.
His engineering approach emphasizes practical, sustainable upgrades, value engineering, and long-term operational efficiency. Hiten is particularly experienced in retrofitting existing buildings to improve performance while minimizing downtime, maintenance burden, and lifecycle costs. In addition to HVAC, Hiten oversees plumbing design, medical gas systems, and specialty mechanical systems, including compressed air, vacuum, fuel oil, and laboratory waste systems.
Since founding H2S Engineers in 2013, Hiten has played a central role in building the firm’s technical capabilities, mentoring engineering staff, and maintaining strong client relationships that drive repeat business and steady growth.

Healthcare & Hospitals:
Medical office remodels, SNF and subacute care upgrades, AHU replacements, SPD remodels, operating rooms, emergency departments, and clinical labs for UCLA, UCI, City of Hope, NHMC, Holy Cross Providence, and St. John’s Regional. Imaging and diagnostic upgrades including MRI, LINAC, and mammography for UCLA, USC, VA, and UCI.
Commercial & Industrial:
Over 1.5 million SF of tenant improvement projects; automotive and autobody facilities; franchise restaurants across California and Nevada; indoor grow facilities and pharmaceutical laboratories.
Leadership Philosophy:
Hiten believes effective mechanical design must balance performance, constructability, and long-term operations. His leadership is rooted in hands-on engineering involvement, clear coordination, and practical problem-solving—ensuring systems not only meet code and design intent, but perform reliably for decades.
